Which Of The Following Is Not A Component Of Health-Related Fitness?

Health Fitness is a multifaceted attribute that includes cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, body composition, and physical function.

Cardiovascular Fitness

Cardiovascular fitness is an individual’s ability to use oxygen to break down glucose and fat for energy. Muscular strength is the maximum force one can exert against an external resistance in one explosive contraction. Flexibility refers to the size of the range of motion at a joint or joints without pain.

Body Composition

Body composition is a measurement of how much fat (adipose tissue) one has compared to muscle mass/bone density). Physical function refers to how well your muscles work together with your other body systems for carrying out daily activities.

We all need some level of health-related fitness to live a happy and healthy life. Health-related fitness is essential to our quality of life.

Some level of health-related fitness allows us to carry out the demands of our day, such as walking or running for transportation, or getting up and down from a chair or the ground. Without health-related fitness, we would not be able to perform these activities.

Each of these components is important in maintaining our overall health and fitness. They work together in many ways; for example, muscular strength and endurance help maintain flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, which helps one’s body composition (amount of fat vs. muscle mass).

Aerobic Fitness

Aerobic fitness is essential for living a healthy life. To live a happy and healthy life, we must be able to move our bodies. Aerobic fitness can be defined as the ability of the body to transport oxygen from the lungs and into cells for energy production.

Vigorous-intensity aerobic activity (e.g., walking briskly, running, cycling on hills) can benefit one’s health, including blood pressure, lung function, immune system function, and muscle strength.

This type of activity is known as “cardiovascular training” or “cardio. Vigorous-intensity aerobic activity can help to lower blood pressure, improve lung function and reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Many people limit vigorous-intensity aerobic activity to times when trying to lose weight.

The fact is that aerobic fitness does not help with weight loss on its own; rather, it can make weight loss easier for those who are trying to lose weight. Aerobic activity is an important part of achieving a healthy body composition.

Muscular Strength And Endurance

Muscular strength and endurance help maintain flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, which help maintain a healthy body composition (amount of fat vs. muscle mass).

Strength training can use common household items such as elastic bands, weights, or even resistance tubing. Resistance tubing can be used to provide strength training benefits safely and effectively.

Strength training provides many positive health benefits, including improved bone density, better posture, and prevention of certain diseases.

It is important to remember that muscular strength and endurance are essential in preventing other diseases.

Very muscular people usually have more muscle mass than those not as muscular; this is because muscle has more chemical compounds than fat. It means that muscles will be healthier (and typically more active) than fat tissue.

Agility

A combination of balance, coordination, speed, and power is used when changing directions or moving up and down a playing field or court.

Examples of agility activities include jumping rope, cutting or weaving through cones, or stepping over a rope held at waist level. It is not a component of Health-Related Fitness.
